Stunning Set of 5 Rare Floral Leather Books! These are the Salon Edition, Published in Paris… It states that only 550 copies were made and that this is part of set 97. This is just 5 Random copies from a larger set… but they are individual books that can still be read on their own. These do not have a copyright date, but I would say late 1800s- very beginning of the 1900s. They include stories by Shakespeare, De Musset, Longus & Gautier! There are multiple colored engravings throughout! Just stunning!! The Leather Spines are faded to a medium brown or tan… and were green originally. You can see from the front of the books. They have beautiful custom florals and bees!! They also have very chunky pages or a deckled edge… ✨The only thing to note, is there are some water marks from moisture at one point in a couple of the books… but there are no smells and they are dried out.
