Gorgeous pair of Antique French Ormolu decorative mounts from the late 1800s! Both are made of brass or bronze… they do have some weight to them! They also have a couple holes on each one, so they could be added as decor! These are so unique & rare! They would have been used on a piece of furniture or maybe a fireplace as added detail in the late 19th century. I love how they look displayed on a bookshelf… but you could also add them to furniture or hand on a wall for decor!
