The Hoover and Smith Co. was a prominent 20th-century Philadelphia jeweler and silversmith firm. They specialized in collegiate medals, fraternity jewelry, and athletic prizes—most notably crafting thousands of annual trophies and loving cups for major events like the University of Pennsylvania Relay Carnival.
Overall it is in good condition for its age! There is a little bit of warping at the very bottom, but it still sits nicely and is not super noticeable. You can also read the text well. I love adding pheasant feathers to mine or coral for layering. 7.5” x 6.25”.
