1854 The Rural Life of England by William Howitt, complete in two volumes. Published in Philadelphia by Parry & M’Millan. This is a very unique set… they have a beautiful, neutral tan cloth binding… with an embossed detailing all over. There is some fading and wear from use and age. There are a couple chapters on the suspicions of fairies and gypsies… so cool! It also talks about the Agriculture and life of living in Rural England, so gardening and nature! This is an amazing set… it’s a hard one to part with!
