1867 Legends of the Monastic Orders as Represented in the Fine Arts by Mrs. Jameson, published in London. This is a stunning book bound in full black Moroccan leather! This is another fine binding… it also has a slight teal/ green tint to it… but it looks mostly black. It is in amazing condition overall! With beautiful gold gilt tooling all on the inside, which just makes the book glow! This is such an interesting book… I don’t find much on this subject matter… I started flipping through it and grew intrigued to read more! It is filled with stunning illustrations as well… just a gorgeous book!!
